Original Plans for Paige & Brie Bella’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match

According to Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE originally planned for Paige and Brie Bella to defend the Women's Tag Team Championships against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at SummerSlam. WWE has since moved the title match to Saturday Night's Main Event on July 18th at Madison Square Garden instead. Paige and Brie have successfully defended the titles four times since winning them, including wins over The Irresistible Forces, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, and Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez.
