WWE Attendance Drops 23.5% in 2026 Despite Remaining Near Historic Highs

TLDR

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE's average live event attendance dropped 23.5% in the first half of 2026 to 10,810 fans, down from 14,132 during the same period in 2025. Despite the decline, WWE's current average still ranks among the highest in company history, trailing only 2025's record 13,200 average and a few other standout years like 2024, 2000, 1999 and 2001. Meltzer noted WWE had not averaged more than 7,000 fans per event since 2006 prior to its recent boom period that began in 2019.
