A Number Of WWE Stars Upset About CM Punk’s Return

As previously reported, former two-time AEW World Champion and WWE Champion CM Punk made his shocking return to the WWE immediately following the Men’s WarGames main event matchup at this past Saturday’s 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event from Chicago.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, everyone including producers, referees, staff, talent and even head writers on the creative team were not told about CM Punk’s return and that has led to a number of talents on the roster being generally upset, but there are some who are excited and curious about it.

It was also mentioned on the report that talents who competed in the main event were pulled aside and told that Punk would be returning at the conclusion of the show, but there was a talent who said they were legitimately upset about Punk’s return.
