Claudio vs. Hangman: A Showdown of Titans

AEW Dynamite’s electrifying atmosphere set the stage for high-stakes action as “Hangman” Adam Page faced Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli. Page wasted no time, attacking Claudio upon his entrance. The match saw both competitors trading heavy blows and spectacular maneuvers, including Hangman’s moonsault off a concrete wall which elicited chants of “A-E-W” from the fans. Despite Claudio’s valiant effort and a near victory with his popup European Uppercut, Hangman prevailed with two buckshot lariats, pinning Castagnoli. The combatants’ incredible performance was highlighted by Taz, stating, “Could have gone either way,” and Schiavone adding, “Two of the best in AEW right there.”

Samoa Joe Announces New World Title Protocol

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe approached the ring with a declaration of intent, outlining a new process for title challenges that prioritizes competitors’ records and reputations over public appeals. He emphasized his readiness to dominate any worthy adversary. However, Swerve Strickland confronted Joe, expressing his determination to seize the AEW World Championship. “Hangman” Adam Page also expressed his resolution to reclaim the championship in 2024, reminding Joe of past altercations. The segment concluded with FTW World Champion HOOK signaling his championship ambitions, setting a title clash with Joe merely a week away.

Triumphant Tornado Tag: Sting and Darby Emerge Victorious

The explosive main event featured Darby Allin and Sting taking on Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs from The Don Callis Family in a Tornado Tag Match. The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, stood in Allin and Sting’s corner, adding to the match’s high profile. A relentless battle ensued, spilling outside as Darby launched a Coffin Drop onto Takeshita from the bleachers. Sting managed to tip the scales, connecting with a Scorpion Death Drop off the stage through tables, securing the win over Powerhouse Hobbs. Post-match, The Young Bucks emerged, hinting at a possible showdown with the victorious duo at AEW Revolution, as fans chanted in appreciation of the iconic Sting.
