The main event of last Monday’s episode of WWE RAW saw WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley put her WWE Women’s World Championship on the line against Raquel Rodriguez. “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax made her return during the match by attacking Rodriguez from behind and laying her out, only for Rhea Ripley to capitalize on the attack and successfully retain her title after hitting Rodriguez with the Riptide. Jax’s return didn’t see her align with The Eradicator as immediately following the match Nia shifted her focus to the WWE Women’s World Champion and laid her out as well by head-butting Rhea and hitting her with a huge Bonsai Drop.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, they had heard Nia Jax was headed back to the company and she actually signed with the WWE over a month ago as the hiring freeze ended this past summer. It was also mentioned on the report that Jax is the first signing to return to the company’s main roster that they made since WWE Chairman Vince McMahon forced his way back earlier this year and a number of people in the company actually thought she would return much earlier than this.
Due to what transpired between “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax this past Monday night on WWE RAW, we could see Jax possibly receive a title shot soon. Jax last competed for WWE during their 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
