Backstage News On WWE’s Plans For Christmas Episode Of RAW

WWE has a number of live events on the horizon, with an episode of RAW taking place tomorrow night in Cleveland, Ohio at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, which will see the return of CM Punk and a one-on-one match between “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. WWE will also be having a live episode of RAW on Monday, December 18th and most likely begin their annual post-Christmas tour on Tuesday, December 26th that includes a stop at Madison Square Garden.

There has been a number of speculations as to what the WWE will do for their Christmas episode of RAW as last year the company held a best-of show. Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that they were told by one WWE Executive that the December 25th episode of Monday Night RAW will most likely be a best-of show, just like last year, but no confirmation has been given yet.

On the SmackDown side of things, WWE is set to air a live episode on Friday, December 15th from Green Bay, Wisconsin before taping the December 22nd episode.
