In an electrifying turn of events, pro-wrestling diva Becky Lynch emerged victorious over Tiffany Stratton to clinch the coveted NXT Women’s Championship. In a dramatic twist of events, Stratton was all set to powerbomb Lynch onto the announcer’s table but swiftly, Lynch managed to avert the assault and with a deft kick, sent Stratton spiralling onto the announcer’s table. Stratton’s ill-fated ‘Prettiest Moonsault Ever’ followed, that Lynch skillfully dodged and concluded the match with a decisive ‘Manhandle Slam’.
Lynch’s triumph now places all four of WWE’s Horsewomen in the elite league of Women’s Grand Slam Champions, awarding them the honor of having each won the NXT Women’s Championship atleast once in their illustrious wrestling careers.
The NXT turf also laid the groundwork for several new matches including the NXT Championship face-off between Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes. Dragunov, in a thrilling match, managed to secure his victory over Wes Lee to stake his claim for the title.
