Triple H took over the WWE’s creative several months back and since then a lot of significant changes have happened such as a number of former WWE Superstars being brought back. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who is also the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Head of Creative isn’t done bringing back former WWE Stars to the promotion, especially those who were released during Vince McMahon’s regime and one of the biggest names Triple H has brought back to the WWE is none other than Bray Wyatt.
After weeks of teases, hints and clues, Bray Wyatt made his WWE return immediately following the main event of the WWE’s Extreme Rules Premium Live Event, when the lights would go out and various Firefly Fun House characters were shown at different areas of the arena, then Wyatt would appear in a doorway on the stage before removing his mask and revealing himself to the WWE Universe and since then, Wyatt has been put in a position to be a top Superstar on the blue brand.
Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that coming out of the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Event later tonight Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who will be defending his title against Kevin Owens during the show, is potentially going to have new challengers and one of those challengers is none other than Bray Wyatt as he is internally viewed as the Number 1 babyface on the SmackDown brand as well as someone who is a top star that Roman hasn’t worked with in quite some time.
This is what Dave Meltzer said:
“I don’t think so. It’s possible. Bray is considered the number one babyface on SmackDown. He is the biggest-slotted star that Roman has not worked with, but I also don’t know…Roman also knows that people who work with Bray always look a lot worse than going in.”
Bray Wyatt is set to face LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble Event.
