Cody Rhodes Will Compete In His Dad’s Match At MSG

WWE will be holding a big Holiday Live Tour show on Tuesday, December 26 from the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, in New York City, which has become an annual tradition of some sort for the company and every year WWE stacks the card from top to bottom, with this year being no different.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes appeared on ESPN’s Michael Kay Show and revealed he will take on Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope Match on the show. The match, which was created by Cody Rhodes’ dad, WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, is contested under No Disqualification Rules and has a long piece of bull rope attached to the right wrist of each talent with a cowbell in the middle of it and the only way to win the match is a wrestler must hit the four corners of the ring in a row.

The first time a Bull Rope Match happened in WWE was at the 2007 Great American Bash between WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and “The Viper” Randy Orton.
