Drew McIntyre Pulled From This Friday’s WWE SmackDown

Top WWE SmackDown Superstar Drew McIntyre was originally set to compete at this coming Friday night’s episode of the show from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where he and Sheamus of The Brawling Brutes was set to challenge Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos for their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles, but McIntyre was pulled from the show.

Drew McIntyre took to his Twitter account and revealed that he is not medically cleared to compete on WWE SmackDown this coming Friday night, but there’s no word yet on the reason why McIntyre was pulled from the show or the exact injury he is suffering from, though updates will be provided as soon as it is made available. It was confirmed however that Drew McIntyre is suffering from a legitimate medical issue and this is not just some sort of an angle for the storylines.

WWE RAW this past Monday night saw a replacement being named for McIntyre shortly following The Usos’ successful Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title defense against Matt Riddle and Kevin Owens and that is none other than Butch of The Brawling Brutes.
