Former AEW Star Seen Backstage At Recent WWE NXT House Show

Pro wrestling veteran Bobby Fish was released by the WWE back in 2021 following a successful run with the promotion as he would win the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship on two occasions with Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly, while Anthony Greene (F.K.A. August Grey in the WWE) was released by the promotion in 2021 as well. According to Fightful Select, both Bobby Fish and Anthony Greene were seen backstage at recent WWE NXT house shows. It was also mentioned on the report that both Fish and Green are still on very good terms with the WWE and Fish even served as a guest coach for WWE NXT just recently.

Following his exit from the WWE, Bobby Fish worked for All Elite Wrestling for less than a year prior to leaving the promotion. Bobby Fish made his debut for IMPACT Wrestling at their Bound For Glory PPV Event, but he has yet to sign a full-time deal with the promotion. There is no word yet on what Bobby Fish being in WWE NXT means, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.

Anthony Greene, on the other hand, has been working on the independent wrestling scene since his exit from WWE and he has been keeping himself busy by working over 100 matches over the past year and that includes eight matches in AEW. There is also no word yet on what his appearance in WWE NXT means, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
