Former NWA World Champion A Free Agent, Can Accept Offers

NWA President Billy Corgan and former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, who was reportedly carrying the company on his back throughout the entire pandemic era and even for a few years prior to that, has been having issues over the past number of months, which began after they had a falling out this past year. Nick actually asked his release from the company several weeks back, but his contract only expired last December 31, 2022 and now the former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion is officially a free agent and can accept offers from IMPACT Wrestling, AEW or even the WWE.

Bruce Prichard is reportedly not a fan of Nick Aldis and there seems to have been issues between them since they started working for TNA/Impact Wrestling, but with Triple H running things, it is possible that Nick Aldis gets signed by the WWE as he is a massive star and he can add more depth to the men’s division on WWE RAW or WWE SmackDown, though he did indicate in an interview that he wants to explore free agency first and be free of a contract or a certain brand and just see what comes next.
