Former WWE Star Lanny Poffo Passed Away At The Age Of 68

The pro wrestling industry has lost another legend and all-time great in former WWE Star “The Genius” Lanny Poffo with the tragic news being revealed via the official Twitter account of WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Poffo, who recently passed away at the age of 68, is the brother of WWE Hall of Famer “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

Poffo competed alongside his brother “Macho Man” Randy Savage in ICW, a promotion owned by their late great father Angelo Poffo. Lanny Poffo also competed as “Leaping” Lanny Poffo in the WWE, but the WWE Universe remembers him more for his run in the late 1980s alongside the late great “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig in their feud with Hulk Hogan. As of this writing, the cause of Lanny Poffo’s death has yet to be revealed, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. Our condolences to Lanny’s friends and family.
