Ilja Dragunov Suffers A Serious Injury At NXT TV Tapings

WWE held NXT television tapings last night from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and it was during the tapings that WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov battled SmackDown Star Ridge Holland in a one-on-one match. Fans in attendance have said that Ilja Dragunov suffered a serious injury while landing on his neck during the match and he had to be stretchered out of the building.

The fans in the Performance Center have also said that there was no indication the WWE NXT Champion’s injury was just a work, but there aren’t many details currently available on his condition. Ilja will defend his WWE NXT Championship against Trick Williams at New Year’s Evil and if the injury is as bad and as serious as it seems, then that could force WWE to change their plans on the match.

An update was just recently provided, where it was mentioned that Dragunov is fine and his injury was just a storyline.
