Impact Wrestling Teams Up with PowerTown for TNA Action Figures

In a strategic move melding nostalgia with a fresh twist, Impact Wrestling is on the verge of a significant transformation, ready to embrace its roots by reverting to the TNA branding at the upcoming Hard to Kill pay-per-view event on January 14. But there’s more to this renaissance than just a name change; TNAImpact has set the stage for a grand comeback in the merchandise realm, venturing into the action figure market after a considerable hiatus.

Announced through an official press statement on their website, TNAImpact divulged their newly minted alliance with PowerTown Wrestling, heralding the dawn of a new era for TNA collectibles. Fans can anticipate the roll-out of two distinct series of TNA Action Figures and Accessories in the coming year. The initial wave, Series One, is scheduled to commence shipping in August 2024, while the subsequent Series Two will make its way to eager collectors in December. Notably, aficionados can mark their calendars for March when the pre-orders for Series One figures are set to open.

This collaboration punctuates TNAImpact’s comprehensive search for a reliable partner to bring their characters to life in miniature form, following their split from a previous manufacturer last August. PowerTown Wrestling, albeit a relative newcomer to the figure production scene, carries a reputation for crafting remarkable collectibles of wrestling icons such as Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, and Magnum T.A., positioning them as a fitting choice for TNA’s ambitions.

As Impact gears up for their TNA transition, the Hard to Kill event promises to be a launchpad for this rebranding effort, set against the vibrant backdrop of the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada. The lineup announced so far points to a thrilling night, with Trinity scheduled to defend the Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace, Alex Shelley vying to retain the TNA Heavyweight Title against challenger Moose, and Chris Sabin battling both KUSHIDA and AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo in a quest to keep the X-Division Title.

Additionally, there’s palpable buzz for yet-to-be-officially confirmed appearances by global wrestling sensations Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada from New Japan Pro-Wrestling and AEW. They’re expected to feature in the Snake Eyes tapings that follow the Hard to Kill event, hinting at a must-watch spectacle for wrestling enthusiasts.

Impact Wrestling’s rebranding to TNA, coupled with its strategic merchandise ventures and a star-studded Hard to Kill event, signifies a bold step into a future that pays homage to its storied past. As Impact Wrestling counts down to this pivotal chapter, fans worldwide are ready to witness the rebirth of a wrestling legacy, articulated through action-packed battles and collectible treasures alike.
