Issues Were Present Between WWE And Ronda & Baszler On Their Match

WWE held their SummerSlam Premium Live Event last Saturday night from Ford Field in Detriot, Michigan and one of the matches that took place during the event saw “The Baddest Woman On The Planet” “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey face “The Queen Of Spades” Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules Match. The match would see The Baddest Woman On The Planet and The Queen Of Spades try to recreate an MMA type of fight with strikes and clinching up against the ropes as well as submission holds. There would even ve spots where Ronda and Shayna implement a ten-count rule.

Dave Meltzer said on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that there were a bunch of issues between WWE and the two former MMA stars about how their bout should have gone and the ten- count rule that they implemented is not even something that is actually done in an MMA fight. Meltzer also indicated that they all had a different take on how the match should have gone and that hurt the match.
