News On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status Following SummerSlam

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and “The Beast” Brock Lesnar has had one hell of a rivalry since the WWE Monday Night RAW episode following last April’s WrestleMania 39, when Brock brutally attacked Cody and left him laying. The American Nightmare would come out as the winner of their first matchup, which took place at WWE Backlash from Puerto Rico, while The Beast would come out victorious in their second encounter, which was held at Night Of Champions from Saudi Arabia.

Rhodes and Lesnar faced each other for a third and final time at last Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam Event from Detroit, which saw The American Nightmare pick up a massive win over The Beast. Rhodes would win after reversing Brock’s F5 and hitting Brock with multiple Cross Rhodes. After the match, Brock would shake Cody’s hands, hug The American Nightmare and raise his arm.

Bryan Alvarez stated on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that Brock Lesnar is not done from the WWE even for the time being and The Beast will not be taking a long hiatus from the company despite removing his gloves following his match with Cody Rhodes as several fans thought that was a sign of him taking some time off, but it is not. Dave Meltzer then added that “The Beast” Brock Lesnar is advertised for the WWE’s Fastlane Event on October 7 and that is perhaps when Brock will be making his return to WWE TV.
