News On Johnny Gargano And Candice LeRae Returning To WWE

A number of weeks ago on WWE RAW, former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano made his surprise return to WWE, when he made his way out and addressed the WWE Universe. Candice LeRae, who is one-half of the former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and the wife of Johnny Gargano, made her surprise return to WWE as well during last week’s episode of WWE RAW, when she was revealed as Nikki A.S.H.’s opponent and came out of the match with a huge win.

Fightful Select reports that the higher-ups in the WWE were very happy that Gargano and LeRae decided to return to the company following their free agency. It was also revealed in the report that the duo were considering offers from other pro wrestling companies, including IMPACT Wrestling and that LeRae and Gargano had very respectable departures from WWE’s NXT, in which they were two of the brand’s top performers.

Gargano was heavily commended and praised for helping out younger talents such as Austin Theory, Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis prior to his exit from WWE NXT and this was something Gargano took pride in as he was always very dedicated to the NXT brand. Gargano and LeRae said in past interviews that they would be making their returns to pro wrestling on their own time and it was believed WWE would be the only promotion they will work for, but once Vince McMahon retired from the WWE and Triple H took over it only made their decision that much easier.
