News On Randy Orton’s Status, Not In WWE Creative Plans

WWE legend “The Viper” Randy Orton has been out of in-ring action since last May due to a back injury and he underwent surgery late last year, but there hasn’t been any clear update on when The Viper can make his return to the WWE. Randy Orton’s father, the legendary “Cowboy” Bob Orton, revealed during a fan signing event that The Apex Predator has returned to training, but the doctors have told him that he shouldn’t return to the ring, though speculation has been running rampant since then on when Orton would be able to make his highly-anticipated return.

According to Fightful Select, “The Viper” Randy Orton is healing up quite nice, but not nearly enough to make a return and that is why WWE sources have revealed that Orton has not been factored in any of the company’s creative plans whatsoever, at least until the next few months. The report also mentions that there hasn’t been even a little bit of conversation in regards to Orton’s return and he can only start thinking about his in-ring return once he begins training again in the ring, something he plans on doing soon. Orton has reportedly resumed lifting and Fightful Select has been told that The Legend Killer is huge.

The Apex Predator has started working out, but has not begun bumping in the ring. Regarding a surprise return at this Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam, one source told Fightful Select to not count on it and that as mentioned earlier he has not been factored in any creative plans that they have heard of, unless it is being kept under wraps among the company’s employees.
