News On WWE’s Plans For Their Next Event In Saudi Arabia

WWE held their Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on Saturday, November 5 from the Mrsool Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the show, which was headlined by Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul, reportedly ended up being a massive success for WWE as the promotion touted that Crown Jewel is the most-viewed international WWE Premium Live Event of all time.

Dave Meltzer reported on a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE will hold their next Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia in May of 2023, but there’s no word yet what the event will be called. WWE has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority and is being paid big money to host two Premium Live Events in the country per year.

The company’s previous Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia prior to Crown Jewel took place in February and was known as Elimination Chamber and the event was headlined by an Elimination Chamber Match that saw “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar capture the WWE Championship.
