Nixed WWE Monday Night RAW Plans For Kevin Owens

This past Monday night’s post-Payback episode of WWE RAW featured a number of big moments such as WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins and his challenger at Payback Shinsuke Nakamura getting into it once again after Rollins had already successfully defended his title against The King Of Strong Style this past Saturday night and Sami Zayn taking on JD McDonagh in Singles action.

The match between Zayn and McDonagh was made following the events of this past Saturday’s event, when McDonagh caused Zayn and Kevin Owens the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships and JD and Sami had an interaction on RAW this past Monday night. According to PWInsider.com, the original plans for RAW was for Kevin Owens to face JD McDonagh in a Singles Match, but Owens ended up not appearing on the show, though he was said to be backstage, so obviously plans were changed.
