Odyssey Jones Finally Debuts on Raw After 411-Day Wait

One big thing: Odyssey Jones made his in-ring debut on Monday Night Raw after being drafted to the show over a year ago.

• Jones defeated Performance Center recruit Vincent Winey in his first Raw match.
• This debut came 411 days after Jones was drafted to Raw in the 2023 WWE Draft.
• Jones had appeared on last week’s Raw, aiding Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods against the Final Testament.

What they’re saying:

“I’ll be honest Jackie, I am super excited. I know it doesn’t seem that way, but 411 days since I was drafted. I did not think this moment would come, so I’m just happy that it’s here, happy it’s over with, and all that weight is off my shoulders, and I can just get ready for next week,” Jones said on Raw Talk.

Why it matters:

Jones’ debut and alliance with The New Day members could be shaking up the dynamic of the legendary tag team. His introduction appears to be causing friction between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, potentially playing into Karrion Kross’s ongoing attempts to break up the group.

What’s next:

• Jones, Kingston, and Woods are scheduled for a six-man tag team match on next week’s Raw.
• This match will likely further explore the new dynamics within The New Day and their relationship with Jones.

The big question:

How do you think Odyssey Jones’s introduction will impact The New Day’s future in WWE? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
