Rebel Announces Intentions to Return to Indy Wrestling Circuit in 2024

In the fast-paced world of professional wrestling, competitors must often adapt to the evolving landscape of promotions and audience preferences. One such competitor making waves with her recent announcement is AEW’s Rebel, known for her dynamic presence both inside the ring and in the corners of champions.

Rebel, whose journey through the wrestling world has seen her engage with organizations like TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, WrestlePro, and STARDOM, found a significant role in All Elite Wrestling. She notably supported Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., the shining star who clinched the AEW Women’s World Championship in 2021. Not stopping there, Rebel was also ringside, backing Jamie Hayter as she secured the same acclaimed title in 2022.

The posse comprising Baker, Hayter, and Rebel quickly became fan favorites within AEW. However, as Baker and Hayter made a shift to babyface personas at the beginning of 2023, Rebel disappeared from AEW television, leaving fans questioning her next move.

The answer came through social media. On December 1, Rebel took to Twitter to express her eagerness to reconnect with her roots in the independent wrestling scene. Her post resonated with determination and a touch of nostalgia, as she hasn’t grappled on the indie circuit for nearly four years.

Her tweet read: “It’s been almost 4 years since I have wrestled on an independent wrestling show. And I think IT’S TIME TO RETURN. Let’s do a #2024Rebel tour! BOOK NOW at mgmtbookings@outlook.com #rebel #wrestling #lasthoorah #2024.”

This call to action, dubbed #2024Rebel, isn’t just a declaration of her intentions; it’s an open invitation to promoters to book her for upcoming events. At 38 years of age, Rebel’s passion for wrestling is as fervent as ever, signaling that her “last hoorah” tour might be a significant chapter in her storied career.

As 2024 approaches, the wrestling community is eager to see what this talented performer brings to the mat outside AEW’s domain. Will her tour turn into yet another championship tale? Only time will tell, but one thing is clear: Rebel is ready to step back into the ring and make some noise on the indie wrestling scene.
