Shotzi Details Hosting NXT Halloween Havoc, Ospreay Talks Potential WWE Career, NXT Files New Trademarks

The world of professional wrestling has seen some interesting developments recently. Firstly, wrestling sensation Shotzi spoke in a recent episode of a ten-count podcast about her exhilarating experience hosting NXT’s Halloween Havoc 2023 Week 1 Show. In her own words, she describes the event as a “dream come true.” When asked about the number of women participating in various matches she said, “I am loving that we are seeing so many women come in today and doing not just regular matches like Devils Playground matches, Lights Out matches.”

Shotzi also expressed her excitement about WWE’s decision to bring back Halloween Havoc. “I even joked about it when I first got signed. I was like man, I wish we could bring back Halloween Havloc. Then I got a phone call saying, ‘Hey, we’re gonna bring back Halloween Havoc, we want you to be the host,’ and I just died. I was like this is my dream come true”.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the wrestling world, Will Ospreay, whose contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling is set to expire in February 2024, revealed his potential interest in a WWE career during an interview with Metro. According to him, “It’s on the table, that’s all I can really say. That means I am open to all options going forward.” Ospreay maintains that while financial security is important, he does not want to jeopardize his authenticity as a wrestler.

He also discussed a potential dream match with WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, revealing that the idea “intrigues” him quite a lot, and it could be a massive deal for fans. Arguably, a match between the two could be one of the highlights of the year.

In parallel news, WWE recently filed new trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The newly filed trademarks included “Lola Vice”, “Dani Palmer”, and “Kale Dixon”, all of which are currently being used as ring names for talents in WWE’s NXT brand.

Enduring regular ups and downs, the wrestling landscape continues to evolve. Both inside and outside the ring, it remains to be a business that never fails to surprise. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated with the latest news in this high-stakes, electrifying world.
