The WWE-Endeavor Merger Expected To Happen In Mid-September

A massive announcement was made this past April that WWE would be merging with Endeavor with both UFC and the WWE under the same umbrella, but with both companies still running as separate entities, with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon running the wrestling side of things and Triple H as the head of creative.

Deadline.com reports that the WWE merger with Endeavor Holdings is expected to happen sometime in mid to late September under the TKO Group Holdings name and despite Endeavor Group Holdings taking a huge hit from the WGA strike, the WWE and Endeavor merger could open a distinct possibility for some cross marketing between the WWE and UFC and other doors could also be opening in the form of WWE having the company’s top stars be involved with a number of projects for Hollywood and their overall results are ahead of Wall Street expectations.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has temporarily stepped away from his duties after a major spinal surgery. There is no word yet on when Vince could return to his duties as the company’s CEO, but Vince McMahon was recently served with a search warrant and a federal subpoena and it has not been mentioned yet if that will have a future effect on Vince or the WWE and Endeavor merger.
