It was previously reported that WWE Superstar Liv Morgan was arrested last Thursday in Sumter County, Florida by authorities after they found she was in possession of marijuana, which wasn’t more than 20 grams and that she was also in possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoids.
It was also mentioned on the report that the Sumter County Deputy smelled marijuana and found a small plastic bag containing marijuana as well as a vape pen with an oil-like substance that was discovered to be marijuana. The sheriff’s deputy saw Liv’s vehicle crossing over the white and yellow lines of a County Road. Morgan has since bonded out and was released from jail at 10:04PM of that very same day.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, there is “absolutely no heat” on Morgan following her recent arrest and a staff member even said Morgan has not been on TV for weeks, but that didn’t alter any creative plans the company may have had for her and since she was honest about the situation with the marijuana, there are no issues with her whatsoever. A top star also said everybody in the company liked Liv before and everybody still likes Liv and they will get their jokes off and so will she, but nobody will be thinking about it soon enough.
Marijuana is legal to purchase with a prescription in the state of Florida, but it was not made clear if Liv Morgan was under the influence at the time she was arrested. It should also be noted that even though marijuana is part of WWE’s Wellness Policy, the company has not tested for it for years and in the past, if a talent tested positive for marijuana, there would only be a $2500 fine.
