Top WWE Executive Wasn’t Well-Liked Before He Was Let Go

Following Endeavor’s acquisition of the WWE and WWE’s merger with UFC to form a single company called TKO Holdings Group, it was expected that several employees at company head quarters will be let go as there are departments that both UFC and WWE already have in place and it would be more cost-efficient to have those departments join into one.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that top WWE Executive Jamie Horowitz, who held the position of Executive Vice President of Development and Digital after he signed with the company back in June of 2021, was someone who wasn’t well-liked due to the reputation he had when he was still working in ESPN, especially with the women employees.

Horowitz was one of the biggest names that was let go and he was one of Nick Khan’s first major hires from DAZN when the WWE President was stripping DAZN.
