In the world of pro wrestling, even personal events like wedding become headline news. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan exchanged vows with Sky Daily in a closed-door ceremony in Florida. The ceremony took place at a Baptist church with a Pastor performing the duties and counted amongst the attendees were Sky’s children and Nick Hogan serving as a witness on behalf of the wrestling icon.
One person conspicuously missing from the happy occasion was the Hulkster’s daughter, Brooke Hogan. This led to widespread speculation in the media, given that Brooke has always been a significant part of her father’s public life. Addressing her absence, Brooke broke her silence through an Instagram post.
In an effort to end media speculation, Brooke stated, “A lot of media outlets are making assumptions as to why I did not attend my father’s third wedding. Instead of leaving it to speculation, I decided to shut it all down here.” She added, “For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals and values.”
Brooke Hogan’s absence from Hogan’s regular social media posts, including those from his Tampa-based restaurant, Hogan’s Hangout, has nevertheless been noticeable. Despite, these family dilemmas, Hogan continues to be in the limelight. He proposed to Sky Daily in July 2023, following his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel, which was finalized in late 2021. Hogan and Sky had been dating since early 2022, a relationship that has since become a trending topic in the wrestling community.
