WWE Considered Adding A Stipulation To A SmackDown Match

Last week’s post-SummerSlam episode of WWE SmackDown featured a number of main-event calibre matchups including Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair in Women’s Division Singles action, Austin Theory vs. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in a WWE United States Championshp Match and AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross in a one-on-one match. Styles picked up a huge win over Kross, seemingly ending their hard-hitting and highly-physical rivalry following months of back and forth between The O.C., Karrion Kross and Scarlett.

According to PWInsider.com, there was talk within WWE of the promotion adding a stipulation to the AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross Match sometime this past week, possibly making it into a No DQ Match, but it was dropped and they ended up doing a regular Singles Match instead.
