WWE Has A Major Live Event Planned For Next Month In India

According to Sportskeeda’s Riju Dasgupta, the WWE is planning to hold a live event on a “grand scale” on Wednesday, January 18th in Hyderabad, India, but the date of when the show will take place has not been confirmed yet. The report also states that the roster for the show will consist of “a mixture of both Indian and international Superstars” and former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, who recently flew to India to do a “big Bollywood project” and who pushed for the WWE to hold another live event in India, is a lock to be on the show.

This will be the promotion’s first event in India since the Superstar Spectacle Event that took place in 2021 and this is reportedly not the only international event the WWE has planned for 2023 as WWE’s Head of Creative and Chief Content Officer Triple H revealed during last Saturday’s post-WWE Survivor Series press conference that they’re already planning their return to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the WWE has the desire to go everywhere.
