WWE Introduces A New Concept Called “WWE Speed”

Before last night’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown went on the air, WWE introduced a brand-new concept called “WWE Speed.” The show features two 5-minute matchups and on commentary is Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick. Last night’s show saw “Big” Bronson Reed defeat NXT Star Nathan Frazier and Cedric Alexander defeat NXT Star Axiom.

The show had a “WWE Speed” graphic as well as a countdown timer for each match and wrestlers from all brands were featured on the LED boards around the ring.

There’s no word yet on if these matches will air on WWE’s official YouTube channel or on other social media platforms, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
