WWE Merch Revenue In Six Figures When CM Punk Returned

CM Punk made his shocking return to the WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames from his hometown of Chicago last November 25th, then appeared on RAW two nights later, where he cut a promo for the first time in 10 years and declared he is back home. Punk also appeared on the Tribute To The Troops episode of WWE SmackDown this past Friday night and both shows that The Best In The World has appeared on has seen a massive increase in TV ratings.

According to Mike Johnson on a recent episode of PWInsider Elite, the night that Punk made his return to the WWE, his merchandise sales and the company’s merch revenue were in the six figures, showing CM Punk does not only have the star power to move tickets and increase TV ratings, but to increase merch sales as well.

Punk’s WWE return at Survivor Series: WarGames last month was kept top secret, with only a handful of people having any knowledge such as those who competed in the Men’s WarGames Match and Punk’s deal in WWE was only made official ten days prior to Survivor Series.
