WWE Still Has LA Knight Slotted As A Heel On SmackDown

LA Knight is one of the most popular atheletes in the WWE today and him being extremely over with the fans proves that, but despite what the WWE Universe feels and thinks about LA, the company has yet to give him a big push, with his loss at Money in the Bank being the biggest let down the fans have felt as that huge victory would go to The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest.

Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that despite all the cheers and admiration LA Knight receives from the WWE Universe the company still has him slotted as a heel on the SmackDown roster, which is weird as everyone knows he is a babyface.

LA Knight is scheduled to face Sheamus, Cameron Grimes and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in a United States Championship Invitational Fatal 4-Way Matchup this Friday night on SmackDown on FS1, where the winner will get a chance to receive a future WWE United States Title match with the WWE United States Champion Austin Theory, seemingly at next month’s SummerSlam and this could be Knight’s big chance at his first-ever championship in the WWE.
