WWE Still Has Plans To Launch NXT Europe In The Future

WWE launched their NXT UK brand in 2018 and have produced some of the United Kingdom’s biggest events and stars in the time the brand was still active until they ultimately ceased operations in August of 2022 and it was during that time where the company made a shocking announcement that the NXT UK brand would be going on a hiatus and be rebranded as NXT Europe sometime in 2023, which would lead to stars being released.

A number of WWE fans were under the impression that the company will no longer be launching their NXT Europe brand as the year is almost over and there has been no movement despite it being announced the company was looking to have the brand up and running sometime in 2023. It was then stated on a number of reports that plans to launch NXT Europe were put on hold until the WWE was acquired by Endeavor to merge with the UFC and form a new company now known as TKO.

WWE Hall of Famer and NXT Executive Shawn Michaels recently took part in a media call to promote this coming Saturday’s NXT Deadline Premium Live Event and it was during the media call that HBK was asked for an update on the NXT Europe brand. According to Shawn Michaels, things are still being worked out for the brand and he sees Europe as a hotbed for the company’s international markets. Shawn also said he will be ready to go for the eventual launch of NXT Europe.
