WWE Still Has Plans To Launch Their NXT Europe Brand

WWE launched their NXT UK brand in 2018 and have produced some of the United Kingdom’s biggest events and stars in the time the brand was still active until they ultimately ceased operations in August of 2022 and it was during that time where the company made a shocking announcement that the NXT UK brand would be going on a hiatus and be rebranded as NXT Europe sometime in 2023, which would lead to stars being released.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the WWE still has plans to launch their NXT Europe brand and their target to launch the new brand will be sometime next year. Dave Meltzer also noted that there are plans to launch different branches of NXT in places like Japan, Mexico and India, but there is no word yet on when that could happen.

Plans to launch NXT Europe have been put on hold until WWE officially merges with the Endeavor Group, which is expected to happen in a few weeks.
