Pro wrestling legend Bobby Roode has had a lot of success not only in the WWE, but in every other pro wrestling promotion he has worked for. Roode is mostly notably known for his 12-year tenure in IMPACT Wrestling/TNA Wrestling, where he is a 6-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, a one-time TNA King Of The Mountain Champion and a 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Bobby Roode would also become a 1-time WWE NXT Champion, a 1-time WWE U.S. Champion, a two-time WWE RAW Tag Team Champion with two different partners and a 1-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
Despite his accomplishments, Roode has not competed in a match since June and with him being a Triple H guy and Triple H being in charge of WWE creative, it would only make sense that Roode would get the major push the WWE Universe expects him to receive once he returns to action, which could happen soon and he could even be switching brands upon his return.
A couple of months back, Roode took to his Instagram and revealed that he went to Birmingham, Alabama to undergo some sort of a procedure, but no other details were provided on what exactly took place in Birmingham, Alabama, though it could be seen on the wrestling legend’s post that he visited Southlake Orthopedics and Andrew Sports Medicine.
According to PWInsider.com, Roode was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama last Wednesday and WWE officials are hoping that he will be back from his injury soon. There is no word yet on what injury Booby Roode suffered, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. Bobby Roode last competed for the WWE at a house show on June 25th against Omos.
