WWEā€™s New Faction ā€˜The Prideā€™: Lashley and Profits Alliance Update

3 Key Points

  • Lashleyā€™s team with the Street Profits yet to be officially named on WWE TV.
  • Planned rivalry with Krossā€™ stable featuring a new addition with B-Fab.
  • Debut name for the faction ā€˜The Prideā€™ postponed at the last moment.

Lashley and Street Profits Team Alignment

In recent WWE programming, Bobby Lashley has teamed up with the Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, forming a dynamic trio. Despite their regular appearances together, the collective has not been officially christened with a team name on air.

Rivalry Emerges with Karrion Krossā€™ Faction

An intriguing plot development occurred on the previous episode of WWE, where Karrion Kross and his new accomplices in the AoP, set a potential feud in motion with Lashleyā€™s team. In a compelling twist, B-Fab was shown aligning with Krossā€™ faction during a segment that unfolded backstage after the show.

ā€˜The Prideā€™ Naming Postponed

According to a tweet from the respected source WrestleVotes, fans were on the brink of learning the official name for Lashley and the Street Profitsā€™ collective in last weekā€™s edition of SmackDown. The reveal, however, was unexpectedly postponed for reasons still unclear.

They disclosed, ā€œThere were plans in place to name the Bobby Lashley / Street Profits faction on last weekā€™s SmackDown, which got axed at the last second for unknown reasons. Iā€™m told those plans are still tentative as the direction of the trio could be shifting. The planned name for the group is ā€˜The Prideā€™.ā€

Despite the delay, the internally chosen name ā€˜The Prideā€™ hints at the factionā€™s potential identity and direction. Whether or not this designation will come to pass depends on the evolving storylines and decisions made behind the scenes at WWE.
