Stephen A. Smith Says He’d Come For Paul Heyman If He Joins WWE
Stephen A. Smith said during an April 28, 2026 appearance on ImPAULsive that if he ever joined WWE, he would target Paul Heyman and challenge his status as the top promo in the company. Smith stated that Heyman "confessed that his status at number one would be in jeopardy" if Smith arrived on the scene, and while Smith isn't ready to get physically involved like Pat McAfee, he sees himself going "toe-to-toe with Heyman on the mic" if WWE finds a role that doesn't put him in harm's way.
