Sol Ruca Breaks Down How She Created Her Insane Soul Snatcher Finisher
Sol Ruca revealed on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast that her Soul Snatcher finishing move is based on a gymnastics move called a "straddle back" that she used to perform on the bars, which involves doing a reverse gainer moving backwards while flipping forwards. She explained that she wanted a unique finisher tied to her gymnastics background that she could use on opponents of any size, and adapted the move so that instead of catching a bar, she's "catching humans." The name "Soul Snatcher" came from a song she heard, and she immediately knew it fit the move.
