The Rock’s Rise to the Top of WWE Was Fueled By Early Morning Workouts and Nonstop Grind
Mark Henry revealed in an interview with Inside the Ropes that The Rock's rise to WWE stardom was driven by an extraordinary work ethic that included twice-daily workouts, starting at 4:00 AM, and meticulous preparation. Henry described how The Rock would constantly write in a notebook to analyze what promos worked, get extra ring time with Tom Prichard before practice, and maintain military-like discipline while Henry admitted to partying. According to Henry, The Rock's "out of worldly" discipline and obsessive approach to perfecting his craft made his success inevitable.
