JCW’s Paige Collette Explains How In-Ring Bump Left Her Disabled
JCW performer Paige Collette revealed on LIVE JCW's Ring Rat with Vince Russo that a botched bump during training at KnokX Pro activated a rare neurological disease called CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome). The injury occurred when she was thrown over the top rope and landed on concrete instead of the apron during a student match, with WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi present as trainer. Collette went undiagnosed for nearly seven years before learning she had CRPS, and despite being wheelchair-bound, she taught herself to walk again and has returned to wrestling while writing a book about her experience called "Wrestling with CRPS."
