Adam Page On Why He Decided To Sign With AEW Over WWE

“Hangman” Adam Page is one of the fastest rising stars in all of pro wrestling and before he signed his contract with All Elite Wrestling, he reportedly received an offer from WWE. Hangman Page was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio where he talked about his decision to ultimately sign with All Elite Wrestling over WWE.

This is what Hangman Page said: “With All Elite I felt that I had the opportunity to do something huge for my career and just to have fun with my friends.”

Page then talked about wanting to provide something for other wrestlers as AEW wouldn’t have the same exposure without the top stars. Page also said that his signing with All Elite Wrestling was an easy decision.

This is what Hangman Page said: “It was something we decided to do together. It was an easy decision.”

There are those who believe that the only reason Hangman Page signed with All Elite Wrestling is that he could easily become a top-tier star in the promotion with the help of Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, but Page made it clear that there is no truth behind those claims.

This is what Hangman Page said: “I didn’t think, ‘Oh, if I sign up to do this with my buddies, I’m sure to be a top guy.’ That wasn’t a thing at all and the least of my concerns, really.”

“Hangman” Adam Page is set to face Chris Jericho at AEW’s All Out PPV Event on Saturday, August 31st from the Sears Centre Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois to determine the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
