AEW Adds Aussie Wrestler to All Out Battle Royale

All Elite Wrestling confirmed Aussie star Shazza McKenzie for its All Out Casino Battle Royale on Saturday’s pre-show.

All Elite Wrestling added Shazza McKenzie to its All Out Casino Battle Royale in an announcement Thursday.

AEW tweeted out confirmation of McKenzie in the match set for the All Out pre-show on Saturday at Sears Centre in suburban Chicago. In all, the match will feature 21 competitors.

The winner of the Battle Royale will qualify for a match to decide the first AEW Women’s Champion. The inaugural champion will be decided on AEW’s first TV episode on Wednesday, October 2.

McKenzie tweeted out a message about earning entry into the match: “Everything I did this year in an effort to chase this dream was all for this moment. All I wanted was a chance to prove I could belong on the big stage. But I didn’t come this far to ONLY come this far. I’m coming to WIN! #CasinoBattleRoyale #AEW #ALLOUT”

The Casino Battle Royale will include the biggest stars of the women’s division in AEW and others who aren’t officially under contract. Teal Piper, Jazz, Big Swole, Ivelisse, Sadie Gibbs, Awesome Kong, Britt Baker and Nyla Rose are among the names confirmed for the match by AEW.
