AEW Announces Massive Main Event For Next Week’s Dynamite

As previously reported, the main event of this past Wednesday night’s Beach Break episode of Dynamite saw the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers beat Jon Moxley, PAC, and Rey Fenix.

Right after the match, both sides continued to brawl as Lance Archer made his way down to the ring to clear out The Good Brothers. This would leave Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega all alone in the ring, where we would see Moxley be attacked from behind by a masked man.

The masked man would then reveal himself to be none other than top NJPW Star KENTA. KENTA would then lift the IWGP United States Champion back up and hit his GTS finisher on Moxley. KENTA would then leave the ring and have Kenny Omega celebrate his victory over his rival to end the segment.

After the show, AEW even released a video of Omega approaching KENTA, but KENTA responding that he is not Omega’s friend, and only in AEW to beat Jon Moxley. A Tag Match was even teased then, but not yet announced or confirmed as Kenny Omega proposed an unsanctioned match to KENTA for next week’s episode of Dynamite against Moxley and Archer.

A huge announcement was recently made by All Elite Wrestling that a Falls Count Anywhere and Anything Goes Main Event Showdown will take place during next week’s episode of Dynamite between KENTA and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega vs. Lance Archer and IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley.

AEW also said that after last Wednesday night’s classic main event and the shocking ending as well as the challenge Kenny Omega issued, AEW President Tony Khan has made the match official for the February 10th episode of Dynamite.
