AEW Battle Of The Belts Special Final Viewership

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily reports that last Saturday night’s AEW Battle Of The Belts special was able to draw a total of 704,000 viewers, with a rating of 0.27 in the key 18-49 demographic, which translates to about 355,000 total viewers in the key 18-49 demo. The total viewers was up 6.8% from the fast nationals ratings that were released this past weekend, while the number of viewers in the 18-49 key demo was up 6%.

This past Saturday’s AEW Battle Of The Belts special featured Sammy Guevara battling Dustin Rhodes in an Interim TNT Title Match, “Absolute” Ricky Starks defending his FTW Championship against Matt Sydal and AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. defending her championship against Riho, which was the main event.

The last time AEW aired a show on a Saturday night was the Holiday Bash episode of AEW Rampage, which was able to draw a total of 589,000 viewers and 335,000 viewers in the 18-49 key demo. The June 26th, 2021 episode of Dynamite, which also aired on a Saturday, was able to draw a total of 649,000 viewers with a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 key demo. The Holiday Bash episode of AEW Rampage drew the third-best audience and the third-best key 18-49 demo rating AEW has done out of the six shows that has aired on a Saturday night.
