AEW commentator and Senior Advisor “Good Ole’ J.R.” Jim Ross, who signed with the company in April of 2019, recently took to Twitter and revealed that while he was on his way to Charlotte, North Carolina for the promotion’s Battle of The Belts special on TNT this past Saturday night, he fell and suffered a nasty black eye with some swelling on his face.
The WWE Hall of Famer did end up doing commentary at the promotion’s Battle of The Belts special with Tony Schiavone and Excalibur. The legendary “Good Ole’ J.R.” Jim Ross would also provide an update on his skin cancer issues a few weeks ago, where he revealed that he has beat cancer once again and that he is now cancer free.
