AEW Dynamite And WWE NXT Will Go Head-To-Head In October

All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite and WWE’s NXT went head-to-head every Wednesday for several months and majority of the time AEW’s Dynamite would win the ratings war. This would last from October 2019 till April of last year after WWE’s NXT moved to Tuesday nights and would be revamped to WWE NXT 2.0. Even though the Wednesday Night Wars is over, it looks like we will see these two programs go head-to-head one last time.

Dave Meltzer reported on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that due to the MLB playoffs on Tuesday, October 18th on TBS, both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT 2.0 will air on Tuesday night as AEW’s Dynamite will be preempted. Meltzer also noted that this will be the first time they’ve gone head-to-head in over a year.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“The big thing is AEW and WWE are both gonna have dates changed because of the upcoming Major League Baseball playoffs. It’s not gonna affect anything until mid-October. But there will be an October 18 head-to-head on Tuesday with Dynamite from Cincinnati and NXT. The first time they’ve gone head-to-head in over a year.”

It will be interesting to see which company will put on a better show and who will win in the ratings war not that Triple H is in charge of WWE’s creative and a number of significant changes have already happened.
