Pro wrestling veteran and former AEW Star “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, who is one of the key persons responsible for the formation of All Elite Wrestling and who’s one of the first few to sign a contract with the company when it was established on January 1, 2019, took to his Twitter and replied to a fan who talked about how people seem to underestimate Cody Rhodes’ importance in the creation of All Elite Wrestling.
According to the top WWE Superstar, without Brandi Rhodes or himself AEW wouldn’t exist and the proof is half of the names that are currently in their roster, but he has moved on to the next stage of his life. The American Nightmare left AEW earlier this year after his deal expired and returned to WWE at last April’s WrestleMania 38, when he took on Seth Rollins in a Singles Match. Rhodes is currently on the shelf due to a torn biceps injury that he suffered prior to his Hell In A Cell Match against Seth Rollins.

Facts are all out there to see…without Brandi or I it wouldn’t exist. Look no further than some of the infrastructure in place or even half the names of the events. Tony, Bucks, Kenny, Jericho, Dana, Hang…pioneers. I’ve moved on to the next stage for me, but beautiful memories.— Cody Rhodes (@CodyRhodes) August 23, 2022
