This past Wednesday night saw the premiere episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite on TNT as well as the season premiere of WWE’s NXT on the USA Network. While both shows gave their all and did extremely well in the eyes of wrestling fans around the world, Showbuzz Daily reported that All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite was able to draw 1.409 million viewers compared to NXT’s only 891,000 viewers, which is a whopping 58% difference.
All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite was ranked at #2 in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic, while WWE’s NXT was only ranked at #10. In viewership, All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite was ranked at #16, while WWE’s NXT was only ranked at #27.
This is the first time NXT aired the entire two hours on the USA Network. In the past couple of weeks, only the first hour was aired on the USA Network. With the WWE Network airing the second hour.
For the first week, the first hour was able to draw 1.179 million viewers and for the second week, the first hour was able to draw 1.006 million viewers, which means that a decline in ratings has been happening from the first week to the most recent episode.
