All Elite Wrestling Dynamite claimed a massive victory in viewership over WWE NXT in the Wednesday Night War this week.
AEW averaged 947,000 viewers to just 721,000 for NXT, according to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com. The gulf between the two programs grew even wider this week.
In the key 18-49 age demographic in which Dynamite (0.36 rating) nearly doubled its WWE competitor (0.19). Last week’s Dynamite also drew a 0.36 rating while the NXT episode drew a 0.15 in that demographic.
Overall, AEW climbed to sixth overall in the top 150 cable programs on the night. NXT finished way behind, ranking 55th.
